| ENVIRO-TEC developed the "anti-mold" hi-rise fan coil unit in 2003, and the product was awarded an AHR Expo Innovation in the same year. The VH AMU inhibits mold growth with these innovations: a motorized coil bypass damper for increased dehumidification at part-load conditions, a temperature and humidity controller, reheat control for extreme climate dehumidification, elastomeric closed cell foam insulation, deep loading synthetic media filtration that protects both the coil and the coil bypass air from contaminants, and an IAQ positively sloped drain pan.
